TERMS AND CONDITIONS (T&C) – HAZINSPEKTOR.HU

1. SERVICE PROVIDER DETAILS (IMPRINT)

2. THE SUBJECT MATTER AND LIMITATIONS OF THE SERVICE

• Scope of Service: hazinspektor.hu performs a visual, non-destructive condition assessment of the visible and accessible parts of the property on the day of the assessment, supplemented by random instrument measurements (wall moisture levels, basic electrical test). It provides a written report on the results, which records the condition observed at the specific time of the assessment.
• Exclusions: The service does not include: structural, building authority, or legal (permits, title deeds) examinations; energy performance certification; gas appliance, chimney, and CO examinations; property valuation; structural demolition, examination of areas behind coverings, furniture, or equipment; laboratory tests (mold, wood-destroying agents, asbestos, radon, drinking water); camera inspection of the sewage network; or the uncovering of hidden defects.
• Nature of the Information: The report contains factual observations. It does not qualify the property, nor does it recommend or discourage its purchase; the purchasing decision rests solely with the Customer. Any statements regarding potential causes of defects represent possibilities, the specification of which is the responsibility of a specialist in the given professional field.
• Cost Estimation: The amounts provided for repair works are informative price ranges derived from public market sources. They do not constitute quotes; the actual costs may vary significantly depending on the technical solution, choice of materials, contractor, and current market conditions.
• Use: The report is prepared exclusively for the Customer. Third parties (seller, real estate agent, financial institution, contractor) may not base any rights upon it.
• Liability: The liability of hazinspektor.hu – to the extent permitted by law – is limited to the amount of the assessment fee paid. This limitation does not apply to intentionally caused breaches of contract, or to breaches of contract resulting in damage to human life, bodily integrity, or health.

3. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

• The contract is established upon the confirmation of the order. Appointments can be modified or canceled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Cancellations within 24 hours or failed assessments due to reasons within the Customer’s control may incur a standard call-out fee.

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT

• Fees are based on the unique quote provided. Payment can be made on-site in cash or via advance bank transfer. The handover of the written report is subject to the full settlement of the fee.

5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND CANCELLATION

• Customers qualifying as Consumers are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), which is forfeited once the service has been fully performed.
• Withdrawal Form Template: To: PETAN Project Kft. (2317 Szigetcsép, Orgona u. 7., info@hazinspektor.hu). I, the undersigned, hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the performance of the following service: [name of service], Date of contract, Name of consumer, Address of consumer, Date.

6. COMPLAINT HANDLING AND ARBITRATION BOARD

• Complaints can be submitted to info@hazinspektor.hu (with a 30-day response deadline). In the event of a legal dispute, the Pest Vármegyei Békéltető Testület (Pest County Arbitration Board; Address: 1055 Budapest, Balassi Bálint utca 25. IV. emelet 2. ajtó, Tel: +36 1 792 7881, E-mail: pmbekelteto@pmkik.hu) or the arbitration board competent according to the consumer’s place of residence shall have jurisdiction.

7. DATA PROTECTION

• Data processing activities are governed by the Privacy Policy available on the website and the provisions of the GDPR.
